What HelloWhere is

HelloWhere helps you discover and save restaurants and hotels and make plans together. Information about places (such as opening hours, menus, prices and offers) comes from the places themselves. We do our best to keep it up to date, but cannot guarantee that everything is always correct.

We only show availability when it is known live via HelloWhere. Otherwise we refer you to the place itself.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
• Your account is personal. Keep your password secret and let us know if you think someone else has access.
• You can always delete your account yourself via My account.

Booking and paying

• You make a booking with the place itself. HelloWhere passes on your request; the place confirms or declines.
• If a place asks for a deposit or prepayment, you pay the place, through its own Stripe account. HelloWhere charges no commission and does not receive that money.
• Cancellation and refunds follow the place's terms, which you see before booking. Ask the place about them.

Tips and other contributions

• You are responsible for what you post. No hateful, misleading or unlawful content, no advertising and no personal data of others.
• You allow HelloWhere to show your contribution on the platform and translate it automatically. This permission ends when you delete the contribution.
• We may hide or remove contributions that violate these terms. Anyone can report content.

For restaurants and hotels

• The basic profile, posts, offers and events are free, within the publication limits. There is no paid ranking.
• If paid features ever come, you will hear about it in advance and choose for yourself. There is no automatic switch to a paid subscription.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your information, such as prices, opening hours and allergen information, and you only publish photos and texts you may use.
• We check ownership before anyone may manage a place, and may take down profiles or posts that are misleading or unlawful.

Automatic translations

Texts are translated automatically and may be inaccurate. In case of differences the original text applies, which you can always view. We only show allergen information and cancellation terms in the original text.

Liability

We offer HelloWhere as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage caused by incorrect information from places or by the platform being (temporarily) unavailable. This does not apply in case of intent or gross negligence.

Ending and changes

You can stop at any time. In case of serious or repeated violation of these terms we may block an account. If we change these terms in important ways, we will announce it in advance.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless the law provides otherwise.
